A Feast to celebrate Yoruba culture

Feast - Photo: Richard Hubert Smith, Young VicMillions of Africans were transported across the Atlantic as slaves
Feast, an ambitious and visually striking play that celebrates West Africa's Yoruba culture and its impact in the Americas and Europe, is showing at the Young Vic theater in London.
The piece, a co-production with the Royal Court theater  centers on the journey of four Yoruba deities - through their reincarnations in different black women and men - to Brazil, Cuba, the United States and the United Kingdom, during 300 years, from the times of slavery to the present.
